Message from Principal Katechis

Good Afternoon PS 19 Staff and Families,

We hope all of our students, staff, and families enjoyed today’s traditional snow day and remain safe and warm throughout this storm.

Our NYC Mayor has announced that NYC Public Schools will resume in-person instruction tomorrow, Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

PS 19 morning programs, after-school programs, and scheduled events for tomorrow will also resume. Should there be any unforeseen changes that impact specific programs, families will be notified directly.

Our custodial team has been working diligently to ensure that entrances, walkways, and school spaces are safe and ready for reopening. Please continue to use caution when traveling to and from school.

Thank you for your flexibility and continued partnership as we navigated today’s snow day. We look forward to welcoming our staff, students, and families back to the building tomorrow.
